On July 22, 2025, the China Municipal Engineering Association announced the selection results. Jiangsu Zhongke Intelligent System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Intelligent"), a subsidiary of Zhong'an Science and Technology, participated in the construction of the Suzhou International Express Logistics Corridor Phase II Project - Dushu Lake Second Channel Project, and was awarded the highest quality level evaluation project for municipal engineering in 2025.


Project Overview
The Second Passage of Dushu Lake (Dushu Hunan Tunnel) is an important component of the "Eight Horizontals" transportation framework system planned and formed in Suzhou City. The project crosses the southern part of Suzhou Dushu Lake, connecting the administrative divisions of Wuzhong District and the Industrial Park. It is connected to Dongfang Avenue to the west and passes through Suzhou Shenwai Port, Dushu Island, Dushu Lake, and Wanshou Street in the form of a tunnel to the east before connecting to Chuangyuan Road. The project has a total length of 3.93 kilometers and adopts the standard of urban main roads. The main line is designed with a speed of 50 km/h. It is China's first underwater navigation canal shaped double layered tunnel, integrating "bridge, island, tunnel, and underwater ramp".

The tunnel adopts a unified integration platform to integrate various subsystem business sectors, reducing the complexity of the tunnel intelligent system, simplifying the operation process of the monitoring center, improving system stability, and greatly enhancing the maintenance efficiency of users.

Project highlights
1. This project involves the renovation and expansion of the existing Dushu Lake Tunnel Management Center. After the expansion, the management center will be shared, with an intensive design that saves land resources. There will be no increase in management personnel, and only a small number of maintenance personnel will be added, minimizing the management and maintenance costs during the operation period.

2. The main tunnel adopts a fully embedded design, with hidden exposed hanging lines to make the space inside the tunnel simple and atmospheric.

3. Through intelligent changes in decorative light strips, a fatigue awakening zone is set up to ensure driving safety while maximizing tunnel aesthetics.

4. In order to improve the fire protection performance of the tunnel and improve the safety level of the tunnel, this project introduces the foam water spray fire extinguishing system, which is the first case in Suzhou. This system interfaces, integrates, and manages with the fire alarm system. Through flame detection, fiber optic detection, manual buttons, and other alarm perception methods, it achieves a closed-loop fire situation processing system based on the fire alarm platform, including information collection, system analysis, linkage control, and action feedback. It has the advantages of wide coverage, fast processing, and fire automation.

During operation, electricity is one of the important costs. By using data provided by VI/CO and wind speed and direction detectors, the number of wind turbines in operation can be reasonably controlled. Automatically adjust the brightness value of tunnel lighting through dimming control. The above series of measures have effectively reduced the operating costs of the tunnel.
Excellence Award Ceremony
After the completion of the Dushu Hunan Tunnel, the travel time from Guoxiang Street in Wuzhong District to the Science and Education Innovation Zone in the Industrial Park has been shortened from 30 minutes to 5 minutes, greatly facilitating the commuting of residents from both places and truly reflecting the design concept of "people's cities built by the people and people's cities for the people".

During the project construction period, company leaders attached great importance to it and visited the site multiple times to inspect and guide the work. The project department has always adhered to the goal of "creating a safe construction site and casting high-quality projects", carefully planned, scientifically deployed, comprehensively promoted on-site construction management, and delivered on time with quality and quantity guaranteed, delivering a satisfactory answer for the people of Suzhou.

The "Evaluation of the Highest Quality Level of Municipal Engineering" won this time is the highest award in the national municipal engineering industry in terms of engineering quality, representing the advanced level of the municipal engineering industry at the same time in China, and is a national level honorary award. The achievement of this honor marks another new harvest for Zhongke Intelligence in the field of municipal engineering construction, reflecting that Zhongke Intelligence has reached the first-class level of the national municipal construction industry in construction management, engineering quality, technological innovation, and other aspects.
